Gov Zulum mourns late Bashir Tofa, condoles the people of Kano

Borno state Governor Babagana Umar Zulum has condoled the government and the people of Kano, over the demise of an elder statesman, Bashir Othman Tofa.
Zulum had sent a high delegation to the ancient city to commiserate with the people of Kano , over what he described as the loss of an astute politician.
The high powered delegation led by the Speaker of the Borno State House Of Assembly, Alh.Abdulkarim Lawan described the deceased as a patriotic Nigerian, rare breed politician and a man of integrity who contributed invaluably to the development of Kano and Borno States respectively.
According to him, the death of Late Alh.Bashir Tofa affects not only the two states but the entire country due to his contribution towards the strengthening of values and the democratic ideals.
“We received the news of the demise of this gentleman with sadness therefore we are praying to Almighty Allah (S.W.T) to reposed his soul, grant him Jannatul Firdaus and also gives his family the courage to bear the irreparable loss .
Responding, Kano state ,Gov Abdullahi Umar Ganduje represented by his Deputy, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna thanked Gov.Zulum for showing concern over the death of the business mogul, noting that the visit is an expression of brotherhood, he prayed Almighty Allah to reward the entourage abundantly.
