38 Years Old Man Die In Kano Fuel Tanker Accident

Three persons were severely injured in a ghastly automobile accident involving a fuel tanker that occurred along Dambatta highway in Kano North, culminating to the death of 38 years old man , Muhammad Adam Maidugri.

According to eyewitness accounts, the truck was  travelling along the busy Dambatta highway when the incident occurred.

An eyewitness, Muhummad  Abdullahi,  resident of Kunya quarters , Kwanar Minjibir L.G.A.said three occupants of the truck were trapped inside the truck,  in the  ghastly accident, he said “ immediately  I saw what happened, the truck has somersaulted,  I called the nearby Fire Service  station for help.

He said“Fire service officer came to the scene of the accident, they removed the accident victims and took them to the hospital, it was not a collision, the truck somersaulted.”

The  Public Relations Officer, PRO , Kano state Fire Service SFS Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi , when contacted by our reporter said “A report have been received from Danbatta fire station that a Truck carrying petroleum (PMS) of about 66,000 Ltrs fell along the road side, three 3 person reportedly were  trapped inside the  driver cabin.

“The  truck driver was rescued alive and conveyed to Gezawa general hospital before the arrival of Fire Service, therefore One  victim was  rescued unconscious by name Muhammad Adam Maiduguri of about 38 years old, while the other person also  rescued alive was by  name Yakubu Bashari of about 65 years old .

“They were conveyed to Danbatta general hospital there and then Doctors confirm the death of Muhammad Adam Maiduguri, the corpse was  handed over  to Inspector Magaji Husaini of Danbatta police division.”
