Umuamusa Progressive Union Women Wing  launches  maiden  album

Umuamusa Progressive Union Women Wing Kano branch has launched its maiden album and dance .

Our correspondent reports  that  the occasion held at  Our Lady of Fatima Catholic church was witnessed by prominent traditional  Igbo leaders within and from outside the ancient city of Kano.

Eze Ndi Igbo Kano, Igwe Boniface Ibekwe described the event as an enviable showcase of Igbo culture and traditions.

He urged Nigerians to always embrace their culture and traditions, he said this will enhance the atmosphere of peace, happiness and human development.

Speaking at the launching of the album title Mma Nwanyi Bu Di, the  royal father  of the day ,  Igbudu 1 of Umuamusa Autonomous Community , eze  B C. Onwusoraka commend the women wing for its culturally driven initiative.

The royal father called for more investments on the promotion of culture and traditions across board to boost communal interest and development.

He appealed to Ndi Igbo wherever they reside to continue to live in peace and  harmony.
