A reliable source with Nigerian commercial airline operators AZMAN has rejoined that the fire incidence involving the airline occurred in Saudi Arabia not MAKIA
Kanoreporters.com had reported that the aircraft was billed to convey passenger to the Holy Land for Umrah pilgrimage, when the lower part of the aircraft was gutted with fire .
Sources disclosed that the aircraft was schedule to airlift over 120 passengers billed to take off at about 10 pm.
The source though not authorized to speak to journalists reacting to the earlier publication said the incident occurred in Saudi Arabi on Wednesday not MAKIA.
According to the reliable source, the airline airlifted 400 passengers to Saudi Arabia, out of the number , 200 had disembarked when the incidence occurred, “ the fire was hurriedly overpowered.”
Our correspondent reports that , in the early hours of Friday a video went viral on social media handles showing those who escaped the incident narrating their experiences over the incidence .
