Ramadan: Kano Speaker, Chidari charges Muslims on national peace, stability


Speaker, Kano state House of Assembly, KSHA, Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has tasked Muslim adherents to utilize the period of the observance of Ramadan fasting to  promote the virtues of  peace and unity among Nigerians.

A statement issued by the director press, KSHA, Uba Abdullah last Saturday said “  As the month of Ramadan entered the second day Muslim faithfuls had been enjoined to be steadfast in offering prayers to Allah S.W.T for peaceful coexistence and socioeconomic development in the nation.

Uba quoted Chidari as  saying that  “ the Holy Month of Ramadan is a month of Rahma, Blessings and forgiveness stating that it has become highly imperative for the entire Muslim Faithfuls to utilised the month judiciously  towards seeking Devine interventions to the problems bedeviling the nation.

“Speaker Chidari  thanked the people of the State especially  the  Emirate Council’s,   the Ulamas and individual family members on their efforts in offering prayers to Allah S.W.T for the betterment and overall development of the State and the nation.

“He further assured the good people of the State that the incumbent administration in Kano State under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje would continue to uplift the standard of living of the people in the State.

Similarly, the Clerk and Head of Legislative Service, Alhaji Garba Bako Gezawa applaud the Honourable Members of the House for their utmost contributions in  Law making  to touche the lives of the people of the State positively as well as the good working relations that  has  existed  between the Legislative arm and the Executive Arm of government in the state, stressing  that the cordial relationship  is a symbol of unity and progress in the state.
