Lift of Twitter suspension , US government applauds Nigeria’s president Buhari

The Unites States of America , USA has commend president Muhammadu Buhari for the lifting the suspension of the renown social media handle, Twitter, operations in Nigeria.
The spokes person, US mission in Nigeria, Jeanne Clark, speaking, on the role of the media in strengthening democracy during the town hall meeting organized by Nigerian Guild of Editors, NGE held at Tahir Guest Palace in Kano said “ here in Nigeria, we witnessed some important developments.”
“president Buhari began 2022 engaging the media in two interviews and the long suspension of Twitter finally lifted. Any and al; efforts to increase transparency and open routes for citizens to freely express their thoughts and opinion are positive steps to begin the year.”
