Kano: Operation “Puff Adder ” Operatives Arrest Notorious Burglar, Sani a.k.a Adamawa

Kano police command has apprehended a suspected  notorious burglar,  Sani Adamawa, who had terrorized  residents of  Gunduwawa quarters in Kano metropolis.

The residents of Gunduwawa community in Gezawa local government had lodged various  complaints  to the police about  incessant cases of  burglary  that is committed in their community.

The state police  command  a launched a manhunt for the perpetrators of the alleged acts of aggravated burglary in the area, which yielded positive result, following the arrest of the notorious leader of the gang of thieves operating in Gunduwawa community.

The spokesman, Kano police command, Dsp Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed that , police special squad led by one SP Bello Yusuf  have arrested the leader of the notorious gang that had  terrorized Gunduwawa community.

Kiyawa alleged that the suspect was arrested on 10th November, 2021, at Gunduwawa quarters,  adding that the  exhibits recovered from the possession of the suspected burglar includes, mobile phones, household appliances, cutlass, clubs, keys  and fetish items.

He said the matter has been transfer to the State  Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, for discreet investigation, adding that, on completion of  investigations the  matter will be charged to court.
