Gov Ganduje pledges to complete NUJ Press Centre 30 corner shops project
Kano state government last Friday has assured the speedy completion of the ongoing construction of corner shops at the NUJ Press Centre. Press Center
The state government said the works on the construction of 30 corner shops at the NUJ Press Center will be given accelerated attention .
The state commissioner of information, Comrade Muhammad Garba, who inspected the project site expressed the optimism that the state government will continue to partner with journalists, considering their strategic positioning on the strata of social and economic growth of the nation.
He appealed to journalists to guard against all negative tendencies that would truncate the ongoing electoral process.
The commissioner called on the populace to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration exercise to enable them exercise their franchise.
Conducting the commissioner round the project site, chairman NUJ Kano council, Comrade Abbas Ibrahim said the project when completed will strengthen the revenue base of the union.He express appreciation for the cordial working relationship between the state government led by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and members of the union.
