Nigeria@61 president Buhari expose those behind high cost of food prices in the country

Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari has exposed those behind the ceaseless sky rocketing of food prices in the country.
The president in an independence day broadcast made to Nigerians to mark Nigeria’s 61 independence anniversary ceremony, Buhari lamented that the prices of food commodities has continued to record unbearable rise.
Mr Buhari, who in his remarks acknowledge the burden caused by the unwarranted inflation of food prizes in the country described the situation as the handi work of disruptive elements.
He further alleged that the increasing cost of food prices were brought about by unpatriotic element.
He averred that the federal government will liaise with the national parliament , security agencies and relevant authorities to tackle the menace.
While working to tackle the nefarious activities of the alleged middle men syndrome , the federal government in addressing the challenges of food prices, in its efforts will be double efforts to reduce costs of logistics , improve supply of quality water to agrarian communities and to also improve on water and land transportation systems with the aim to make food more available to Nigerians at an affordable prices. Buhari stated.
