Kano state governorship Election Petition Tribunal Registry opens in Kano

Kano state governorship, national and state house of assembly election petition tribunal registry has commenced operations at the Miller road court complex, our correspondent reports.
The registry which opened for business is enveloped in beehive of activities courtesy the filling of petitions, other processes and inquiries that are ongoing.
Our correspondent gathered that the petitioners in filling their petitions were mandated to comply with the provisions of the Elections Judicial Proceedings Practice Direction, 2022.
The tribunal registry said “ all petitions and other processes for filling at the Election Petition Tribunal registry must be prepared in 210 mm paper size(A4) and typed in clear typographic character.”
Further stating that “the first type shall be arial times, new roman or tahoman of 14 font size with at least 15 lines spacing between.”
Our correspondent who visited the registry reports that heap of filled petitions were been attended to by the members of staff of the tribunal registry.
The registry is expected to announce the next line of its schedule of activities .
