ASUU strike forced me to get marriage, BUK female student reveal’s

A former female student of Bayero University Kano, BUK has disclosed that the unending strike action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU compelled her to decide to get married.
The student Zakeeya Zubairu(department withheld) in a chat with Kanoreporters.com said , rather than stay back at home due to ASUU strike action, only to loss focus and to get rot, in life, she opted to get married.
The Kaduna state born lady said “I have presumed that how long will it take for the strike to end, when will federal government and ASUU settle all their difference, then I just decided to abandon my programme and settle down for marriage.”
She further said “I am a woman, and I have so many things I want to accomplish in my life time, the earlier I move on with other positive things in my life the better for me.
Speaking on the economic challenges that may arise due to the failure to complete her university programme, Zakeeya said “I am now also into petty businesses , that will help to sustain my personal economy, I have nothing to fear.”
She appealed to ASUU and the federal government to reach an accord in the interest of the future generation of Nigerians, who may suffer from their unending labor deadlock.
