Tragedy: Mother, one year old son killed in fire outbreak , in Kano

A 25 years old woman, Zainab Yusha’u and her one year old son, Sulaiman Usaini were ,on Saturday morning killed in a fire accident.
The deceased persons died in a fire outbreak that broke out at their residence located along Gwarzo road beside Gidan Kaji.
The spokesman, Kano state Fire Service SFS Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi who confirmed the incidence said “ today Saturday 8th January 2022, our formation received a call at about 07:00am from Usman Nura, who reported that there was fire out break at Gwarzo Road by Gidan Kaji.
“ we turned out our men to the scene of incident and they arrived the scene at 07:08am and found that, a building of ground floor of about 35 X 20 ft use as a dwelling house with one room and one parlour were well alight.
“two persons named Zainab Yusha’u of about 25 years old, and her son, Sulaiman Usaini of about 1 year old were trapped, the victims were rescued unconscious and were later confirmed dead.”
He said the corpse of the victims were handed over to the head of the family named Malam Usaini a resident of Gwarzo Road by Gidan Kaji.
