Kano state lawmakers approves N10 billion loan for purchase of CCTV gadgets
Kano State House of Assembly has given its nod to the state government to borrow N10 billion, for the purchase of CCTV gadgets.
The plenary session presided over by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari had approved for the state government to obtain the N10 billion loan facility to be used for the purpose of developing optic cyber and installations of CCTV in strategic locations in the state.
The gadgets will be installed to boost security within Kano metropolis and headquarters of the emirates council’s .
The house granted the request as was contained in a letter transmitted to the House by the Executive Arm of government.
The lawmakers engaged in deliberations , the request letter was adopted and approved permitting the state government to secure the loan facility for the purpose stated in the letter.
