Kano state government moves to prosecute killers of five yrs old pupil, Hanifa
Kano state governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has averred that the state government will roll out the machinery of justice to pursue the diligent prosecution of the suspected murderers of five years old pupil, Hanifa Abubakar.
The state commissioner of information, comrade Mohammed Garba, Friday stated that those found to be involved in the homicide will be dragged before the law to reap what they sow .
Garba reiterated that the state government through its judicial arm will pursue the interest of justice in the case of kidnap and culpable homicide of five years old Hanifa Abubakar, pupil of a private school located at Kwanar Dakata in Nassarawa local government area of the state.
Garba said “the governor has taken measures by ordering the closure and withdrawal of the operational license of the school, where the child was allegedly subjected to gruesome murder.
He said the state government is terribly disturbed, adding that Kano state government is in contact with the family of the victim and would continue to work with the family of the deceased , until justice is served in the matter, which has generated mass public outcry.
