Gov Bala Mohammed applauds Nigerian army’s role in operation Safe Heaven

The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed has commended the Nigerian Army for its role in curbing security challenges in the state.
The governor said the army in collaboration with sister security agencies have implemented synergy that has curtailed attacks in the state , courtesy of the services offered by the team of joint tasks force (JTF) in the state, he said, they deserved commendations for their good works.
Governor Bala made the remarks , when he played host to the General Officer Commanding 3 Division of the Nigerian Army Jos Division, Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali at the Banquet Hall of Government House, last Friday in Bauchi.
Bala Mohammed expressed gratitude to officers and men of Nigerian Army alongside other security agencies for their commitment to the maintenance of peace and security Governor Bala singled out their joint patrol exercise as a strategy that has yielded dividend.
“We’ve witnessed a tremendous achievement from the team of joint tasks force in combating, reducing crime and criminality in the state, particularly in our Major highways since the commencement of your operations.
“My Government will continue to render its support and assistance to the activities of the Nigeria Army in the state, I am urging you to sustain the current tempo”. Bala stated.
Earlier, in his remarks , the General Officer Commanding 3 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali thanked Governor Bala for his support to the Nigerian Army in Bauchi , he assured the people of Bauchi of the resolve by men of the Nigerian army to continue to discharge their duties without fear or favor.
