FACICP decry against rising cases of exclusion of women with disabilities

Family Centre Initiative Programme ,FACICP has lamented over banters that have lead to the increasing cases of the exclusion of women with disabilities .
The group further decried that thechallenges suffered by women owing to their exclusion, stressing that the unwarranted act of their exclusion culminates into unemployment and massive poverty amongst women.
The group’s advocacy team led by Bilkisu Ado Zango, speaking at a one day capacity building programme held in Kano, urged women to brace up to the challenge by formulating alliances to amplify their voice against exclusion.
Bilkisu task marginalized groups to create umbrella bodies to be used as a platform to protest against exclusion and to further strengthen their campaigns against the unholy act.
She added that, NAWOJ, FIDA and other women groups must forge a common front to pursue initiatives that will culminate into growth and development.
