SALARY DELAYS AND UNDERPAYMENTS IN KANO CIVIL SERVICE: COMMITTEE SUBMIT REPORTS.

In a brief ceremony today, the committee assigned to investigate salary delays and underpayments in the Kano State civil service officially submitted its report, just one week after its inauguration.

The event was presided over by the Permanent Secretary of the REPA Directorate, Alhaji Umar Jalo, who represented the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Umar Farouq Ibrahim.

Commending the committee for its dedication, Alhaji Umar Jalo praised its members for conducting a thorough investigation within the given timeframe. He acknowledged the large number of affected workers who sought redress and emphasized that the committee’s work was a crucial life-saving mission. He further applauded their selfless service and wished them success in future endeavors.

Speaking on behalf of the committee, Dr. Bashir Muzakkar attributed the success of the assignment to the strong support from the government and the cooperation of the affected workers, who handled the process with patience and discipline. He affirmed that the committee had carried out its duties to the best of its ability and expressed confidence that the state government would take necessary action based on its findings.

Dr. Muzakkar also extended his gratitude to the Kano State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for entrusting them with the responsibility. He assured that the committee members remain ready to serve whenever called upon.
