The Burial and Funeral Prayer of Our Brother Abubakar Lawal (El Shaarawy)

If Allah, the Owner of everything, grants us life until tomorrow morning (Monday), the body of Abubakar Lawal will be transported from Lagos to Abuja. From Abuja, it will then be brought to Sokoto via Sultan Abubakar III International Airport, accompanied by representatives from the Nigerian and Ugandan Embassies.
The Commissioner of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Engr. Mustapha Muhammad (Dallatun Waziri), along with other key stakeholders in sports, will receive the body at the airport and escort it to his family home.
The funeral prayer will take place after the Asr prayer at 4:30 PM at Mabera Mujaya, the third mosque in Sokoto.
May Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept him with mercy, and make his death a peaceful rest for him.
