**Husband of Natasha Condemns Akpabio, Reveals the Harassment of His Wife Despite Their Agreement**
Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan, the husband of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has backed his wife over allegations against the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
In an interview with Arise TV on Friday, Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central in the Senate, accused Akpabio of attempting to assault her both in his office and at his residence in Akwa Ibom State.
Before these allegations, the Kogi senator and Akpabio had clashed in the Senate over the seating arrangement.
In a statement released on Saturday, Uduaghan, who is the traditional ruler of the Warri Kingdom, said his wife had informed him about the incidents involving the Senate President.
“I personally met with the Senate President and pleaded with him to respect my wife and honor our relationship. We reached an understanding and agreed to resolve the issue amicably,” he said.
“However, despite this agreement, my wife continues to complain about the harassment and intimidation she faces from the Senate President.
“I have complete trust in my wife’s integrity and honesty, and I stand firmly by our marriage, which is built on love, compassion, and mutual respect.
“I will never abandon her because she is the greatest joy of my life.
“Therefore, I appeal to the Nigerian Senate and the Senate President to treat my wife with the respect she deserves while the relevant authorities and the courts investigate and decide on the matter.”
