- Kano State Government Distributes free Uniforms to 789.000 Primary SchoolsIn an effort to enhance the quality of education and improve the living standards of the community, the Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has provided school uniforms to over 26,877 primary school children in Kumbotso Local Government Area. This initiative aims to support education and ensure that children are well-equipped for their academic journey.The distribution took place at the Government House, where the Chairman of Dala Local Government, Hom.Suraj Ibrahim Imam, expressed his gratitude to Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf for his unwavering dedication to the development of education in the state. He commended the Governor for prioritizing the welfare of students, which is expected to bring long-term benefits to the community.
In his remarks, the Dala Education Secretary, Mal Bala Magawata,, assured that all children in Dala, would receive their school uniforms,
especially those in Primary One, He also urged parents in the local government area to collaborate with the government to ensure the success of this educational initiative and the overall bettermen future
of their children.This gesture by the Governor is part of his effort to create an enabling environment for academic excellence in Kano State,
and improve the education sector.
