- Blackout:NGO Donates Solar-powered Borehole to Yobe ,Jigawa and Kano Community.
A leading non-profit organization in the field of Carbon offsetting and climate protection projects and sustainable solutions know as think.go climate conscious Atmosfair in collaboration with National agency for the great gree wall has donated three solar-powered borehole to three community in Kano ,Jigawa and Yobe state to mitigate shortage of water In the areas.
Reports says the communities from the three states has long faced challenges in accessing of clean and safe drinking water.
Three community benefit from access of good quality water include Nayi Nawa Bukka shida , Nguru local Government Yobe state,Dan Tanoma Village,Gumel local Government,Jigawa state and Dakata Kawaji ,Nasarawa local Government,Kano state.

while speaking at the commissioning ceremony, said the donation of the solar-powered borehole is part of the broader commitment of the company (think .go climate conscious atmosfair )to corporate social responsibility, focusing on sustainable development and community empowerment, stating that by harnessing solar energy, this project not only provides clean water to human being and Animal but also promotes the use of renewable energy, aligning with global efforts to combat climate change.
According to Bawa at Local level “we are dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities we serve,
Access to clean water is a basic human right, and we are proud to support the communities with this solar-powered borehole ,he added.”
Some of the community leaders in Yobe,Kano state as well as the chairman of Gumel local Government, Jigawa state Alhaji Lawan Ya’u Abdullahi expressed his elation and lauded the two agencies for their dedication to community development in the country, urging his community members to take proper care of the project and emphasized the importance of sustainable solutions for long-term benefits.
He added that, the solar-powered borehole will make a huge difference to their daily lives, providing them with easy access to clean water.

their support and commitment to our community.”Lawan added
In his address to the communities,the Director Forestry and Land management, National Agency for the great green wall Eng Ahamad Bagudo introduce a climate-friendly Cook Stove as part of efforts to curb deforestation and protect women from the health implications of over-dependence on firewood.
Eng Bagudo said: “We cook in our homes daily and the methods we use to cook affect our health as a result of smoke inhalation as well as the pollution of the environment.
In their separate remarks, Eng.Orezi Omeatu,the Policy Manager, Atmosfair climate and Sustainability and Eng.Abdulrasheed Ahamad Imam,sale and Business development manager, Atmosfair climate and Sustainability explained that although the Cookstove is a product of Atmosfair, a non-profit organisation that actively contributes to CO2 mitigation by promoting, developing and financing renewable energies, it is being produced by a Nigerian subsidiary of the company, Atmosfair Climate and Sustainability Limited.
