NAWOJ Constitutes Kano Chapter Caretaker/Credentials Committee

The National Chairperson of NAWOJ Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim has on Friday 9th August 2024 inaugurated a credentials /caretaker committee to run the affairs as well as conduct elections into offices of the Association, Kano Chapter.
In an emergency Congress meeting held at NUJ Press Center Kano, members of the Association nominated a five man Committee that was given the mandate to conduct elections within 3 weeks from the day of its inauguration.
It could be recalled that four members of the State Executive had tendered their resignation on 22nd July 2024 due to personal reasons.
Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim thanked the former executive members most profoundly for their service, sacrifice, and commitment and pray that they will avail themselves of serving the Association whenever called upon to do so.
The members of the Electoral committee include the following;
1. Halima Musa Chairman
2. Hussaina Sa’id Bichi Secretary
3. Dr Rukayya M Member
4. Musbahu Chediyar Yan Gurasa Member
5. Usaini Kabir Member
The National Chairperson enjoined the members of the Committee to be transparent and fair in the discharge of their responsibilities.
