Kano Pillars FC U19 team has set off from the ancient city of Kano to Abuja with a squad of 20 players for their opening match in the inaugural U-19 Youth League 2024. This tournament promises to showcase emerging talents from across the country, with teams divided into Northern and Southern Conferences based on their regions.

In this groundbreaking edition, Northern teams, including Kano Pillars U19, will engage in home and away matches under the Northern Conference. This structure aims to foster regional development of young talents within the local football ecosystem. The Pyramid City side will be competing alongside other Northern powerhouses such as Dynamic African Stars, Grassroots Football Talents Developers, Joecas Football Academy, and Kwara Football Academy.

The conference also features teams like Kwara United, Legacy Stars, Mighty Jets, Plateau Jets, Plateau United, Shield City, and Yobe Desert Stars.

Kano Pillars U19 will kick off their campaign against Legacy Stars U19 at the National Stadium in Abuja on Sunday, 15th September 2024, with a 4:00 PM kickoff. This match marks the beginning of a highly anticipated season for the young Pillars, who will look to assert their dominance in the Northern Conference.

Following their opener, they will host AS Roma Academy of Abuja in Kano for Match Day Two, setting the stage for an exciting competition.
