NPFL: We don’t have quality players says Kano Pillars coach…. Laments over tight league fixtures

Kano Pillars coach, Ibrahim A. Musa last Wednesday disclosed that the poor quality of the players been paraded by his side is responsible for their poor runs in the league.
Speaking after his lads were held to a goalless draw in match day 21 in the ongoing 2021/2022 NPFL Season at Muhammad Dikko Stadium Katsina , he alleged that lack of experience on the part of his players was robbing them of the show.
The Media Officer of the club, Lurwanu Idris Malikawa Garu quoted Ibrahim A. Musa saying “ his players didn’t do what they are supposed to do, with what they played last Wednesday Akwa United football club play better than them in the field of play during the encounter.
“Coach Ibrahim A. Musa said lack of experience by some of their players is the cause of the alarm in the team. No doubt we don’t have quality and experienced players in some of the departments and unfortunately now most of the good players would not be released by their clubs.
“The chief Coach said they would continue to manage the players they have at hand to ensure that they end the season on a good note.
The Kano born tactician lamented that the Ramadan fast was taking its tool on the players, saying fatigue and fasting is affecting his players considering that they play three matches per week.
He narrated that they will continue to pursue to poach some points on the road to fill the 12 points deficit they suffered at home.
