Judo: BUK accounting student pockets  two  medals at the Africa University Games

Bayero University, Kano , BUK department of accounting , Mujahid Musa of Accounting  has pocketed  two bronze medals in  judo 73 kg at 11th Africa University Games (FASU) being co-hosted by the University of Lagos and the Lagos State University (LASU).

 

The university , judo chief coach ,  Ado Cizo  attribute  the success to the  innate potentials of the school athlete, disclosing that the student  has been  renown as  a judoka, since his early childhood days.

 

He said Bayero University Kano has grown to become the hub  of judo , adding that the ivory tower has written its name in gold, silver and bronze medals at various competitions.

 

Our correspondent reports that , Mujahid Musa, is the son of a retired  international judoka,  who had represented Nigeria at various international competitions.
