Bauchi: Police arrest seven persons for killing wedding celebrants

Nigeria police , Bauchi command has arrested seven persons for the alleged murder of two persons at a wedding send fort held in Gudum Hausawa suburb of Bauchi metropolis
The spokesman of the command, SP Mohammed Ahmed Wakili said “Yes, there was an incident where some thugs entered a house and started beating the people and the youths, they started using dane guns to shoot at the people , they also used matchet to inflict wounds some youths”.
“Two persons were shot and killed by the hoodlums, those killed were Christopher Habila, 17 years old and Halon Nandir, 18 years old all of Gudum Hausawa”.
“Presently seven suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident while the Commissioner of Police, Umar Sanda has directed that full discreet investigations should be conducted to get to the root cause of the incident”.
He reiterated that the Command is vigilant in its duty to protect lives and properties of innocent citizens, he said “The Commissioner of Police has directed the Area Commands to expand investigation in their area to flush out criminal elements ”.
