Bauchi speaker declares interest to contest for House of Representatives

The Speaker Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt Honourable Abubakar Y Suleiman has declared his intention to contest for the seat of Ningi/Warji Federal Constituency in the forthcoming general elections in the state.
The Speaker made the disclosure at the occasion organized by Nasaru A Ward, Nasaru B Ward, Dingis Ward and Balma Ward’s communities under the auspices of Northern Ningi Development Association (NINDA) in Ningi LGA, Bauchi State. To honour the frontline lawmaker.
He said “ I, accepted the call, I will follow the wish of my people to contest for the House of Representatives”,
He noted that the enticement will not be taken lightly “because there is no honour in the endorsement that is as valuable as the one done by one’s community, adding that the endorsement is a clear indication that , he has delivered on the mandate given to him by his constituents.
Speaking earlier at the colourful event the Chairman of the Association, Ahmadu Mai-munjirya said that they decided to honour the Speaker as a way to payback for his numerous developmental projects and programmes executed in northern part of Ningi Constituency.
