NJC dismiss Abdullahi Baffa Bichi’s petition against Kano Federal High court judges
The National Judicial Council at its 109th Meeting presided over by the Honourable, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Kudirat M. O. Kekere-Ekun, GCON has dismissed the petition n filed by one Abdullahi Garba Bichi against two Federal High court judges.
The council held on 25 June 2025 in its decision have dismissed the allegations filed against Justice A. M. Liman of the Federal High Court, Kano Division and Justice S. A. Amobeda both petitions filed by Abdullahi Baffa Bichi.
NJC said “The joint petition against Hon. Justices A. M. Liman and S. A. Amobeda, and the petition against Hon. Justice Muhammad Auwal Haruna were withdrawn and accordingly dismissed.
“Five (5) complaints were considered against the appointment relating to the High Courts of Plateau and Kano States and the Sharia Courts of Appeal of Zamfara and Katsina States.” The council stated.
