Kan Tudu Community Commends Gov Yusuf For Appointing Waiya As Commissioner

Kan Tudu Community in Dala local government area of Kano state has applauded Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for appointing Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi as commissioner of information and internal affairs.

Elders, youths, women groups as well as politicians in the community gathered on Sunday evening to honor the commissioner for his well deserved appointment.

Alhaji Dayyabu Maiturare, the chairman NNPP in Dala local government, commended the foresight of his Excellency Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for appointing the right person as the government spokesperson

On this part, Kan Tudu ward chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Alhaji Abdulkadir Danladi Nasidi said, the event is organized thank Kano state Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for appointing their Son into his cabinet.

He said, Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya is known in Kano and beyond for his struggle to protect the interest of the common man, and demonstrated his capacity to represent his people.

Responding, expressed gratitude to the members of Kan Tudu Community for honoring him, assuring that he will Join hand with them to provide development program including youth empowerment and job creation through a foundation.

He assured Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and national leader of the NNPP engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of unshakable support from Dala local government area.

The commissioner asked his constituents to direct his critics who are saying he is not a politician, to the house of Alhaji Uba Jigo who was his political mentor.

Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has reaffirmed the Kano State Government’s unwavering commitment to supporting content creators and digital entrepreneurs across the state.

He made this pledge during the official launch of the Scientific Innovation Network for Nigerian Tech Solutions (SINNTS) App, where he emphasized the urgent need to fully digitize government systems and bridge the content monetization gap that exists between Kano and other states.

Waiya highlighted the government’s readiness to provide comprehensive support for digital transformation initiatives.

He stressed the importance of engaging youths, content creators, and social media influencers to drive the growth of Kano’s digital economy.

While commending the visionary leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Commissioner lauded the administration’s proactive efforts in promoting youth empowerment, particularly through initiatives in the education sector aimed at enhancing skill development and digital literacy.

In his remarks, the founder of SINNTS, Dr. Abdullahi Shu’aibu Demart expressed profound appreciation to the Kano State Government for its steadfast support in fostering a thriving digital ecosystem.

Dr. Demart noted that Nigeria has missed numerous opportunities due to limited content monetization platforms and stressed the need to embrace innovative digital solutions.

He further unveiled an ambitious plan to create 1 million jobs for youths within the next two years through strategic social media monetization, a move he believes will significantly reduce youth unemployment and stimulate economic growth.

The event was graced by several distinguished personalities, including the Commissioner for Public Procurement, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Comrade Nura Iro Ma’aji, and the Commissioner for Local Government, Muhammad Tajo Usman, underscoring the government’s collective commitments to building a vibrant and sustainable digital landscape in Kano State
