37th Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship to be Kicks Off this Saturday

All is set for the Plag off Ceremony of the 37th edition of annual Dala Hard Court Tennis Championship
The tournament will begin on the fifteenth of November this month to Saturday and to be close on twenty third.
speaking in during an interaction with Swan members about the level of their preparation the Tournament ‘s Director, Barrister Yusuf Datti said it is no longer a story that the competition is the only surviving Tennis event nationwide after Lord Rumens ,Ogbe Hard Court and Kaduna Clay Court among others have elapsed
Datti attributed the feat to accountability, transparency, commitment as well as passion for teeming youths
He maintained that already they have advised the country’s governing Tennis outfit NTF, to invite twenty ranked men and ten ranked females for the yearly event
Preliminary round of the tournament will hold from 15th to 17th while the main draw will begin on the 18th
The Director of the annual event added that the amount to be expended this time around which is about thirty five million naira is higher than that of previous occasion as a result of depreciating value of the local currency which led to high cost of living
The Director also expressed the hope that their sponsors as been the case during previous competitions as well as other donors will accord positive response towards the successful conduct of annual tourney
