MINISTER GWARZO COMMISERATES WITH GOVT AND PEOPLE OF JIGAWA OVER FUEL TANKER EXPLOSION
Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo has expressed sympathy with Government and people of Jigawa over the loss of over One hundred lives to a fuel tanker explosion in Taura local government area of the state.
The Minister in a condolence message to the families of the victims, he described the incidence as devastating, heartbroken and a national tragedy. I’m deeply shocked and grief when the news of the incidence was broken to me,” Gwarzo declared.
He enjoined the families of the victims to receive the incident as fateful act from the Almighty Allah. The Minister prayed Almighty Allah to grant the souls of the deceased an eternal rest and give their families the fortitude to bear the loss.
The Minister, called on the people to be safety conscious with a view to preventing future occurrence of such accident, while commended the federal government for its prompt response to the incidence.
