Matasa FC scored first at first half and took the lead at the 20th minute, and their solid defense seemed impenetrable for the entire 90 minutes. However, Shield City FC’s persistence paid off in the dying moments of the game, as Abdulrahman Bashir equalized with a header from Isa Gambo’s cross from the left flank in the 95th minute.
After westing alo of chances dramatically before they equalize through Shield Number 10 jersey Bashir’s who scored his fifth goals at the league after playing five matches, and he is the top scorer of the Shield city, The draw favour Shield City FC to maintains their top position in the group with 13 points from five matches.
