Flying Eagles coach Paul Aigbogun says the main target of his team is to qualify for the knock-out stage of Poland 2019.
Speaking shortly after his team’s 4-0 hammering of Qatar, Aigbogun said the nature of the opposition will determine the tactics for subsequent matches.
“The first is to leave the group. Then step by step. You can not count on going down to a weaker rival, because there are no such rivals here,” he said.
“Each of the teams participating here has their hopes related to the championships. After all, there is no Brazil, no German or England here,” he added.
The London-born Aigbogun is expected to keep the same line-up for the second group match against the United States.
